Groove Music in Windows 10The Groove Music app, the default music player in Windows 10, is one of the few apps with very few issues. Despite numerous updates to these default apps over the past few months, users have been experiencing issues with them. RECOMMENDED:Metro, modern or now known as universal apps are not as stable as traditional desktop programs. The only problem is that you can’t uninstall Groove Music from Uninstall a program window or by simply right-clicking and selecting uninstall. It should look something like this.Most of the Windows users are still comfortable with using VLC Media Player as their default music app and that’s the reason they want to completely uninstall Groove Music from Windows 10. This is so that none of them are hidden from view while switching back and forth. Rearrange your screen such that you can see both, the music folder as well as the WMP side by side.

Now, you can start sorting through your music. Change it to Windows Media Player if it isn’t already set. Here, you can see which application is used to open MP3 files on your PC. Select ‘Properties’ on the bottom of the list. To check your default player or change it, select a song from your music folder and right-click on it. This should work with any media player, but it would have to be your default music player. It may sound counter-intuitive, but it is faster to switch back and forth between WMP and your folder, directly deleting your music from the folder itself, and using WMP just to play the music. But, there is a faster way to do it without doing so.
